The beginning of 2014 has been a busy time for everyone here. The more often shining sun has been generously soaked in by our office cats, with both carefully surveying our work and schmoozing guests whenever possible. Little Miro who will be a year old in the summer has become quite the young gentleman, with the loudest voice and fastest paws! 
It’s hard to believe we were bottle feeding him and his siblings only so many months ago. Emma’s perpetual shyness continues to be replaced with personality and curiosity. From her adoption in 2012 to now, Emma is a completely different cat!
In early February Shari and Matthew flew out to Las Vegas to the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, visiting with our friends at Best Bath, and checking out new product lines that we might be proud to endorse. New contacts were made, and our most noticeable immediate edition is that we now carry the Invisia line of products. Invisia makes wonderful accessibility products that turn safety bars into functional and beautiful accessories for your bathroom.
February also saw Aquassure displaying at the Kelowna Spring Home Show, hosted at the beautiful Prospera Place. Home and trade shows are always a pleasure for us because it allows us to interact with people on a bigger scale than we normally get to. Our goal is to let everyone know that you can ‘Age in Place’!
March is truly our busy month for early trade shows. Our office split for the first weekend in March to manage two shows at once! Shari and Matthew went to Vancouver for the annual HME Conference for the Centric Health group. They also acted as presenters, and enjoyed spending time with many of the dealers we know, and making new connections with those we’re less familiar with. At the same time, Corina and I went to Penticton for the CHBA Home & Builders Show at the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre! The managing team behind the show made the process easy and friendly, and it was a treat to be in the South Okanagan again.
Our newest dealer in Quebec had her first show as an official Aquassure dealer! We welcome Elaine to the Aquassure family, and wish her the best in her new venture. The Montreal National Home Show was fantastic, with Matthew making it down to provide support. Elaine hosted our ADL Spa in her booth!
MEDIchair Trent also had a show early March, hosting our mobile shower unit. The show was a big success, and we hope more people visit this charitable store in Peterborough.
